She stills at first, if only because it feels ridiculous to actually be attempting. She can envision this going horribly wrong, but at the same time, she doubts he'd let either of them get hurt. So she rises up on her tiptoes, reaching her hands up...

Only to realize that at five foot one she's too short for this. So she grabs hold of his hand and gently backs them both up toward one of the cockpit seats, and moves to stand on it. It's perfect, and she signals for him to wait a bit longer as she hops out of the chair and hurries to grab the piece of paneling to place before him. Once she's standing back in the seat, she gently takes hold of the back of his head and gulps as she starts to guide the motions in a way that will crudely etch the script on the screen onto the panel.

Clearly this is a wonderful idea that in no way can go wrong.
