My trip wasn't nearly so strenuous.

[ what padmé carries on her is small: rations of food and water; a handful of medical supplies; a small toolbox holding a meagre miscellany; a rifle without charge. nothing nearly comparable to a heavy safe carving a path through the sands, though such a feat long ago ceased to have strong impact. a galaxy far, far away is ridiculous.

her eyes run over the guns she can see, the sorry state of many. with a little care, she figures, many can be returned to working order. they won't have the sleekest looking weapons, but if she must carry one, she favors functionality. ]
