Well, the swarm is over and the queen has died. What are you doing now, friends?

Heading back to the boneyard to regroup? Staying at the queen's carcass to harvest meat and pearl things? Staying maybe to heal if you're banged up? Or maybe you're arguing with others over what to do.

Uh, uh...!!

[ He flops around, trying to see behind himself. In doing so, he discovers something else: ]

Hey! Pockets! I have pockets, this is awesome!

[resnipstance]

What! No fair! [She grabs Lance by the backpack, trying to investigate it.] Where did it come from??

[ceruleo]

[ As soon as she grabs him, the backpack vanishes in a burst of blue light, not unlike the gladiator bot in the castle that Lance is familiar with. It leaves Ahsoka with a handful of....well, Lance's skinny back. Sorry Ahsoka. ]

Hey, watch it! [ He rights himself, patting his back again. ] Where'd it go?

[resnipstance]

--It wasn't me!

[She turns back to whatever Lance was last touching and goes over to investigate. Then her own display starts glowing, and the same thing happens...]

[ceruleo]

That's what they all s--whoa!

[ It's her turn now, and Lance gapes. Thinking about the backpack makes it reappear on his back, and it's a few moments before he figures out the trick of getting it 'on' and 'off'. ]

This is great! We can carry stuff around!

[resnipstance]

[Understanding dawns on her face.]

... I wonder how it works, though. I've never seen tech like this. Do you think this place has something to do with whoever sent us here...?

[ceruleo]

This is kind of like the Altean tech we use, like our bayards and stuff. [ Actually, it's almost exactly like this. ] This whole...place is definitely not Altean, though.

[ His wrist beeps, making him look down, and his eyes widen into saucers. ]

Quiznak! My suit power's really low!

[resnipstance]

What? But you've barely done anything--!

[Then hers beeps too.]

But I've barely done anything!

[ceruleo]

Maybe it's the backpacks?

[ Or... ]

Maybe it's this whole place?! I knew it was creepy in here! C'mon, change of plans, let's book it before we can't anymore.
