[She chuckles as she steps over another piece of debris-- not unkindly, though.]

Now you sound like Anakin.

[ Dusting himself off, he falls into step next to her. ]

Who's Anakin?

[ YOUR BOYFRIEND???????? ]

... Oh. [Sometimes, she still forgets that she's suddenly in a place now where "Anakin Skywalker" isn't a household name.]

Sorry. My old master. The one you asked about, before.

He's crazy about flying. I mean... it's how the Order found him as a kid. He was building pods and winning pod races when he was nine. I enjoy flying, but... I would be fine if I had to live without it. Anakin, though-- I'm not so sure.

[ Oh, indeed. ]

Sounds like somebody I'd wanna meet.

[ He'll eat those words eventually. For now, though, they're approaching a heavy, rusted door. ]

Is it just me, or is it really damp down here?

Ugh. It is definitely not just you.

Maybe something went wrong with the air filtration down here...

[As they approach the door, Ahsoka tries simply opening it experimentally. Simplest option first, right?]

[ The door is stubborn, but eventually gives; the pair are bathed in a dim glow as they come face to face with the ship's plasma core, oozing smoke. ]

Whoa. We're in the engine room...?

[ Hunk would be having a field day if he were here--or he'd be crying at the state it's all in. The whole thing is scrap, covered in thick rust. At the far end is a railing, leading into another, deeper set of rooms--presumably the ship's drives. ]

What the-- oh, sithspit!

Look at the state of this thing!

[Ahsoka tries to investigate the engine, but nothing will move. It's all rusted together.]

[ Lance isn't an engineer, but even he can tell plasma cores aren't supposed to just.....smoke like that. ]

Um. We probably shouldn't hang out in here too long.

Let's see if we can find anything workable.

[resnipstance]

There's nothing in here that's workable. We should see where the moisture is coming from. Where there's rust, there's water, right?

[ceruleo]

[ He huffs out, frustrated. ] Whatever. You look for water, I'll look for a terminal.

[resnipstance]

[Ahsoka nods.]

Deal. I'll go this way. Yell if you find anything.

[ceruleo]

[ He goes. He really would rather not be spending any more time in here than necessary--that leaking core freaks him out--so he makes a quick sweep.

He doesn't notice the computer until he's ten paces past it. He double-takes, then jogs over, activating the screen with a touch of his gauntlet. It comes to life for one shining moment only to flicker out. ]

Aw, quiznak, come on, come on--

[ He crouches, searching for some kind of power switch, and eventually finds a st of battery slots--which bring him back to the battery packs from earlier. Yes!

The big ones slide in easy, and when he activates the monitor against this time, it comes to glowing life for real. Lance hoots, which is nearly a yell. ]

Ahsoka! C'mere!

[resnipstance]

Lance?

[Ahsoka's there in a few minutes.]

What is it-- whoa! You found an actually active terminal? [She looks nearly ready to whoop with glee.]

[ceruleo]

Yeah—yeah!

[ A beat. ]

Now, how does this work again...?

[ He runs his palm over the display, jerking back as it bursts to life, the expanse of Kharas materializing in a hologram before them. ]
