[ The Ruined Hull has been unlocked! The go-team has been in the area for a while, the stay-team members who are so inclined have probably meandered over here somehow by now -- time to go exploring, but keep an eye on those suit power levels ♥ ]

[ it felt the first time he woke up on this damn planet - like the air is being pushed into his lungs and something along the lines of waking up after a concussion, especially with the no memory part.

this was just careless and he mentally grills himself for it while he gets his bearings again. ] Thanks. For the save. [ he pushes himself off the chair and in the process, knocks off the tools he collected from the glowing room. his fingers numbly scrambles to get it - it's harder now that he can't use the force as much as he likes to. ]

Whoa, whoa-- [ Inui reaches out to steady him, one hand on Anakin's shoulder and the other reaching for the spare pearl-things he's brought with him. His read-out has halved after giving Anakin energy to spare, so they'll both need a recharge to get out of here. ]

Hold still a sec, you were kinda-sorta dying there for a little bit. [ He...assumes. He's not really sure what happens to people while their suits have no power. ]

Not the first time. [ but he does feel... off, light-headed. ] Blast it. [ he really needs to be more careful. he has a wife to think of and going in this alone wasn't the best idea. he just needed-

anakin rubs his temples and hunches over; he needed a win to pick his spirits back up, he was desperate for it as much as he was desperate for time alone to process lost of everything he knew, wanted to know and will never know. he hangs on to inui for as long as he can then squats down to collect his tools. then something in inui's hand catches his eye ]

I'm fine-- What is that? [ he squints at the pearl-thing ] Is that from the big ugly back there?

[ the trilobite queen, but what are manners ]

Yep. Here, [ he holds out out for Anakin, lips quirked with amusement. ] Give it a good crunch. It should top you off.

[ Enough to gather all this up and get them out of here anyway. He doesn't have any extras after giving one to Anakin and keeping one for himself. He wasn't really expecting to run into company. ]

he stares at inui skeptically and holds the pearl in his hand. his metal hand. the moment he does, his power goes up to 100%. and look, he doesn't even break it!

he blinks, stumped that such a innocent looking thing could give off that kind of power. he dutifully hands inui the pearl. ]

You don't happen to have anymore of these, do you?

[ Which he pockets, thanks to the fact that he has those now. It's turning out to be a really handy upgrade to have found, but from the looks of things this guy doesn't have it yet. He should probably tell him where to get it or something. ]

he's not jealous or anything. because he, in fact, have considered just using one of those big footlockers are his storage. but you know.

maybe he is a bit envious. ]

Would be easier to scavenge this ship if we had more. [ he taps his wrist comm ] You noticed it's worst here? My power drains a lot faster.

Hence the weird monster-pearls, [ he nods. ] I'm surprised you came in here without any. Was that on purpose, or did you just forget?

[ He's partly poking fun at Anakin and the way he found him, but also partly genuinely curious in that regard. Inui's hyper-aware of looking after himself and being prepared now; he has to be. He's the least suited of anyone to be here. ]

[ he had more pressing matters. like avoiding things and stuff, and walking away from said stuff and things so he can clear his head.

and speaking of, he's going to ignore inui's jab. ]

Sounds like you've visited a few more times than me. Find anything interesting?

You means besides a way to install a backpack on this thing? I found some tiny plastic monster toys and some weird alien cutter-thingy. [ But of all of those? The backpack is still the most useful. ]

Did you know we can touch technology and absorb it like when we give each other boosts? It's pretty sweet.

[ he's quiet for a moment as he tries to figure out what the hell kind of technology that lets you abosrb dead tech and fuels you. energy is energy and it can't just come from no where. eventually, anakin place his hand on the panel as if to experiment on it.

but that backpack is the most useful ]

Install a pack? You make us sound like some kind of droid. Alright, I'll bite. How you do install it?

[ It is fabulous and comes with like six other frontal pockets too, which honestly helps so much with carrying and transporting things. ]

I just told you--we literally touch stuff like we're gonna give someone a boost and like...the suit lights up and suddenly there's a message on your wrist-thing. Look.

[ Inui flicks his wrist and starts up the communicator--which now displays a message to disabled his upgrade, y/n. ]

If you turn it off it all disappears like it was never there.

[ hard light projection that's that tangible? he has to wonder about it, can't wait to get his hands on it. but first: ]

As you can see, I've been doing a lot of touching. [ he gestures at the panels on the chair, some dismantled and some not ] What did you touch specifically to get it?

[ Touching. God Inui can barely keep a straight face, smirking so wide it should hurt. ]

Some sorta storage pack, looks like it'd clasp onto a suit of armour or something.

You a fan of touching?

[ he gives inui the flattest look then cross his arms ]

[ they're in a creepy abandoned space ship with no weapons, food or water. inui pls ]

What?? No, she found this backpack thing and we interfaced with it. So I'm taking you to the backpack...?

anakin stares at his hand for a moment and then looks back at inui ]

Show me your pack. If this works the way I think it does, my suit could interfaced with your pack and I should be able to get it.

Uh...alright. Here. [ Inui holds out his wrist for Anakin to see where the display is, waiting to disable the tech if he so desires. ] You really think it works like that?
