The drone, meanwhile, continues to move. A low hum fills the air as its back lights up with an odd, circuit-like pattern. It turns lightly, seeming to focus sense is feeding it information - vision? hearing? - over the assembly of interlopers. And then it seems to come to a decision.

The hum grows painfully loud as the lights on its back flare into brilliance. A split second later, some blue-tinged wave of energy goes out in all directions, including the place where the interlopers have stopped to plan. Anyone hit by the light - which is anyone remotely within visual distance of the drone - finds that the suit power responsible for supernatural powers has dropped to zero. (Their regular power cells are unaffected, however, so no one is going to freeze. Yet.)
