But thing is, time's not linear, and it's not a constant stream. Some people even argue that time only exists because you perceive it, actually— that's neither here nor there, though. Point is, you can be taken from a certain point in your timeline, be gone for days, months or years, then be put back as if nothing had changed. Especially if we're talking multidimensional traveling, that seems even more possible than doing it within the same universe.
