Open to all!
Who: Inui (
dateme) & ALL OF YOU
When: Day 3, eclipse/evening
Where: Boneyard
What: IT'S TIME FOR A POW-WOW aka we built a fire
[ So it's been a rough couple of days (literally, just two). But between nearly being blown up, marching through the desert, and generally just never wanting to see desert again, there is one good thing Inui (and Lance) have discovered: those Coral plants? Can be cracked open and eaten!
So as the sun vanishes behind the rocky formationsor the moon(s), fellow interlopers might notice a distinct & nutty aroma wafting through the boneyard. Tracing it to it's source isn't hard though: Inui and Lance have started up a rather sizeable camp fire from the remains of some of the bones near the vague center of the massive grave. There they've cracked open large stalks from the coral and are roasting the mealy insides over the flames.
They've stockpiled quite a bit and have yet to cook all of it, so anyone and everyone is free to stop by and either help or take up a stalk of their own! Heck, maybe there's already people gathered there!
Whatever the case, it's a good way to kill some time, right? Maybe you've got a ghost story or a survival plan you want to share with the group? No really does anyone have a plan we could really use a plan ]
[ ooc; THIS POST IS OPEN TO EVERYONE AND EVERYONE! Feel free to make your own starters/sections, threadjack like crazy, and just generally get to mingling. The cooked Coral stalks taste like almonds and shouldn't be poisonous!.
HAVE FUN ]

[It's difficult to say that she's the leader of a warrior people and that she's undoubtedly the weakest of those here, but it's a reality that she's all too aware of. Right now, her vulnerability hangs over her head, offering her consolation.
If she can act with her words and plans, she may be able to usurp some of the control for herself.]

I'll volunteer to go with one group.
[Anakin probably will too, she thinks. But it's better if they don't team up. At this point, their skills are better used spread out than concentrated together.]

As it is, she recognizes that what skills she does have would make her valuable on one of these scouting trips. She can bridge the gap between planning and action, even if she's certain she requires more food than most.]

What do you consider to be the most important for signals and markers? We don't want too many and risk people mixing them up, but we need a few.

[She glances around the area, agitated about what little they were able to salvage.]
Barring the discovery of enough items to manage this, our empty rations may be what we can utilize, combined with some of these bones if we're able to break them off. My people line our villages with the skeletons of our enemies, to ward off danger when needed, and to remember those who were lost in the process.

Well, lacking any skeletons of our enemies [she sounds a bit wry on that phrase] I think two of these bones across each other in an X shape should do the trick, right?

But you're right: if we can break them off without harming ourselves. [The sparks they give off may prohibit them somewhat.]
