Well, the swarm is over and the queen has died. What are you doing now, friends?

Heading back to the boneyard to regroup? Staying at the queen's carcass to harvest meat and pearl things? Staying maybe to heal if you're banged up? Or maybe you're arguing with others over what to do.

[ Actually taking point. Gulp. ]

Is that...some kind of ship...? Are you seeing this?

It... could be. If it's a ship, though, it's been here a while...

[Enough for that much sand to pile on top of it.]

We don't know that. How long does it take for sand to pile up out here?

[ It's some kind of container, for sure, wether or not it's a proper ship will become obvious as they look inside. ]

We should be careful...we don't know what's in there.

I agree. You should stay behind me.

[ A pause. ]

Wait. What happened to me going first?

[ He says that, but he's totally stepping behind her, no questions asked. ]

That was joking around. This is serious. We don't know what's in here.

Don't need to tell me twice. [ Except she did??? Literally?? ] Lead the way, Miss Jedi.

Hmmmm. [She knocks a few times on the wall nearest to them, trying to use the vibrations to sense the space around them.]

I wish we had more light in here. I think there's a large chamber up ahead and to the left, though. Let's head that way.

[She leads on.]

[ He follows along, actually watching her six, nearly walking backwards in trying to see as much as he can. ]

Do you need me to like, sing again...? [ He's asking totally seriously. They should avoid going blind. ]

Well, if you don't mind, I wouldn't say no...

[In the meantime, she knocks on the nearby wall again.]

Ah. Careful. There's some kind of debris on the floor here. [She picks her way over it carefully.]

[ Stepping over the debris as instructed, he clears his throat and again, holds that long note. ]

Ah—

[ Their steps echo. There really isn't anything in here... ]

[Ahsoka steps with a little more certainty as he does.]

... You know, you actually have a nice voice, Lance.

[ Shouldn't have said that, Ahsoka. Lance cuts off, mouth hanging open. ]

Wh—what? [ The corners of lips curl up almost despite himself. ] I don't think I heard you just now. You're gonna have to repeat that.

Well-- I just meant-- comparatively, you know? I can't sing at all.

Don't let it go to your head.

[ Too late. ]

No way, you totally admitted you dig the sound of my voice. [ Lance is being very selective of hearing right now. ] I mean, I can't blame you, my voice is pretty awesome.

I didn't say it like that! I just meant-- objectively!

Right, right. [ To the sound of: 'you're just saying that to throw me off the scent, but I'm onto you~' etc. ] Yours isn't too shabby either. You sure you can't sing?

Definitely. Trust me, you do not want to hear me sing. Music wasn't exactly included in my curriculum. I do best as a listener.

You know that when you say that, all I wanna do is hear you sing, right? Like, you're stoking the fires of my curiosity!

It's not happening.

My skillset is strictly fighting, fixing and flying.

Sounds pretty boring to me. What, didn't feel like branching out, trying new things? [ A little more seriously: ] Singing is something you can learn to do, y'know.

I mean... I guess I could learn? Once we're not, you know, stuck on a desert planet with no way off.

Well, flying's not boring...but life without art is pretty dull, if you ask me.

[ Whatever he's about to say next is interrupted by something in the way, a dark shape to him against a dark background: an assortment of storage containers. ]

Looks like this hallway's blocked. Unless you wanna see if we can push them out of the way?

... I guess I've never thought about it like that.

[She was always too busy.]
